Traineeship DevOps Engineer
Do you want to work at the intersection of software development, infrastructure and automation? In the DevOps Engineer Traineeship, you immediately start working within IT and platform teams at organisations in the financial sector, energy or telecom. At the same time, you follow our Impact Programme, supporting both your technical and professional development.
This traineeship is designed for graduates who want to grow into DevOps, cloud and platform engineering roles within complex and regulated environments.
This is what you will do
From day one, you work within a DevOps or platform team at a large organisation. This is an example traineeship. The exact responsibilities vary per organisation and assignment, but always align with your development stage.
Depending on your role and assignment, you will:
- support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- work with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- monitor systems and support incident resolution
- collaborate with developers and other IT specialists in Agile teams
- contribute to improving stability, performance and security

What we ask
- a completed or nearly completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business IT, Cyber Security or a similar field
- interest in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies and automation
- an analytical and problem-solving mindset
- strong collaboration and communication skills
- you live in the Netherlands and are available full time
Benefits
As a DevOps trainee, you start via Solid Professionals in a contract-to-hire setup. This means that during the first period you are employed by Solid Professionals and immediately start working at one client organisation within the financial sector, energy or telecom. At the same time, you follow our Impact Programme, focused on your professional and personal development.
The intention is that after completing the Impact Programme, you transition into a permanent position with the client. From day one, you are a full member of the team and actively involved in the business.
You can expect:
- a gross monthly salary starting from 3800 euros based on 36 hours, including holiday allowance and a monthly project allowance, depending on the client, aligned with the employment benefits you would receive when directly employed by the client
- at least 22.5 vacation days based on 36 hours
- hybrid working and travel allowance for office days
- guidance from a performance manager who supports you throughout the programme and focuses on your development
