Traineeship Data
Do you want to develop yourself into a data professional and learn how data is used within large organisations? In the Data Traineeship, you immediately start working within data and analytics teams at organisations in the financial sector, energy or telecom. At the same time, you follow our Impact Programme, supporting both your professional and personal development.
This traineeship is designed for graduates with a strong analytical background who want to grow into roles such as data analyst, business analyst or data engineer.
This is what you will do
From day one, you work within a data or analytics team at a large organisation. This is an example traineeship. The exact responsibilities vary per organisation and assignment, but always focus on working with data in a professional, often Agile environment.
Depending on your role and assignment, you will:
- collect, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources
- build and improve dashboards and reports
- perform analyses and translate data into business insights
- support improvements in data flows and data quality
- collaborate with colleagues from finance, IT and risk
- contribute to automation and standardisation of data processing
You may start in roles such as for example:
- data analyst
- financial data analyst
- business analyst data
- junior data engineer

What we ask
- a completed or nearly completed master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or a similar field
- strong analytical skills and interest in data
- basic knowledge of tools such as Excel, SQL and preferably Power BI or Python
- a curious and eager-to-learn mindset
- you live in the Netherlands and are available full time
Benefits
As a data trainee, you start via Solid Professionals in a contract-to-hire setup. This means that during the first period you are employed by Solid Professionals and immediately start working at one client organisation within the financial sector, energy or telecom. At the same time, you follow our Impact Programme, focused on your professional and personal development.
The intention is that after completing the Impact Programme, you transition into a permanent position with the client. From day one, you are a full member of the team and actively involved in the business.
You can expect:
- a gross monthly salary starting from 3800 euros based on 36 hours, including holiday allowance and a monthly project allowance, depending on the client, aligned with the employment benefits you would receive when directly employed by the client
- at least 22.5 vacation days based on 36 hours
- hybrid working and travel allowance for office days
- guidance from a performance manager who supports you throughout the programme and focuses on your development
