This is what you will do

As a junior risk manager, you work within risk teams at large organisations, for example in the financial sector, energy or telecom. This is an example role. The exact responsibilities vary per organisation and assignment, but the core remains the same: contributing to effective risk management, clear reporting and practical improvements.

Depending on your assignment, you will:

  • perform risk assessments and support risk and control frameworks
  • identify, assess and evaluate control measures and key controls
  • support incident management, root cause analyses and follow-up actions
  • prepare risk reports and dashboards for management and governance bodies
  • support internal audits, external assessments and compliance requests
  • contribute to process improvements and control-by-design initiatives in change projects
  • align with stakeholders across business, IT and second-line functions

Together, we determine which specific environment and type of organisation best matches your background and development.

What we ask

  • a completed master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Security Management or a similar field
  • 0 to 2 years of experience through internships or a first role in risk, internal control, audit or compliance
  • strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • interest in governance, processes and improving control environments
  • basic proficiency in Excel and affinity with reporting and data-driven work
  • you live in the Netherlands and are available full time
