Junior Business Analist
Are you analytical, curious and motivated to improve processes and information flows? As a junior business analyst, you work at the intersection of business, IT and data. You help organisations clarify their needs, improve processes and successfully implement digital solutions within Agile teams.
You start directly in practice at an organisation in the financial sector, energy or telecom and develop step by step into a fully fledged business analyst.
This is what you will do
As a junior business analyst, you work within multidisciplinary Agile teams. This is an example role. The exact responsibilities vary per organisation and assignment, but are always suitable for a junior profile and focused on learning, analysing and collaboration.
Depending on your assignment, you will:
- analyse and map processes, information flows and bottlenecks
- gather and structure requirements from stakeholders
- support translating business needs into requirements or user stories
- contribute to backlog refinement, sprint preparation and reviews
- support testing, acceptance and implementation of solutions
- think along about improvements in processes, data quality and collaboration
- document processes, requirements and agreements
You collaborate with product owners, developers, data specialists and other stakeholders and learn how change and decision-making take place within large organisations.
Together, we determine which environment and type of organisation best match your background and development.
What we ask
- a completed or nearly completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science or a similar field
- interest in process improvement, IT and data-driven working
- a structured and analytical mindset
- strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- a strong willingness to learn and develop
- you live in the Netherlands and are available full time
Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Jira or Confluence is a plus, but not required.
