Financial Controller
Do you want to work as a financial controller on reliable financial reporting within large corporates where compliance, accuracy and control are essential? Through Solid Professionals, you will work on a substantive assignment at organisations such as ING, VodafoneZiggo and Eneco. You play a key role in financial reporting, period closings and internal control within complex organisations.
This is what you will do
As a financial controller, you are responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting. You manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings, safeguard data quality and ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal controls. Depending on your experience, you take ownership of parts of the reporting cycle, support audits and act as a subject matter expert on accounting topics. The exact scope differs per assignment, but the core remains the same: delivering reliable figures and a solid financial foundation.
What we ask
What we are looking for
- a completed master’s degree, for example in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or a comparable field
- a minimum of 3 years of experience as a financial controller or in a similar accounting focused role
- experience with period closings, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- knowledge of IFRS, internal control and compliance
- experience working with an ERP system
- experience with audits and collaboration with external auditors is a plus
- accurate, structured and communicative
- you live in the Netherlands and are available full time
