This is what you will do

You’ll immediately become part of a fixed team at a bank, pension fund or insurance company. Depending on your role, you might focus on model validation, credit risk, or improving reporting processes. You’ll take on responsibility early, collaborate with experts, and grow through experience and training. Examples of your tasks include:

  • Analysing and validating financial models: you assess whether models function logically, comply with regulations, and capture risk accurately.
  • Working with tools and programming languages: using Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI or Alteryx, you analyse data, build models or develop dashboards.
  • Structuring and checking data quality: you ensure datasets are accurate and suggest improvements to enhance model reliability.
  • Improving reports and dashboards: you support teams in reporting and visualising risk and performance more effectively.
  • Translating technical analysis into clear insights: you make complex results understandable for colleagues, managers and regulators.
  • Exploring regulations and future scenarios: you analyse the impact of new laws or think along about emerging risks like climate change.

No matter the task, you’ll help organisations make better decisions based on data and insight.
