This is what you will do

As a junior reporting specialist, you’ll start working straight away at one of our clients — such as ABN AMRO, Rabobank or ING - while following our traineeship.. You’ll be responsible for the accurate, complete and timely recording of financial transactions and for delivering financial data to the Reporting department. They’ll use this data for consolidation, annual reporting and regulatory reporting. You’ll also work on risk and compliance-related tasks and support the improvement of reporting processes.

Your responsibilities:

Prepare, analyse and review financial reports: You’ll contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, check general ledger accounts and flag discrepancies. You’ll support both internal and external reporting, including IFRS and risk reporting.

Improve data and reporting processes: You’ll explore ways to make financial data more reliable and efficient, and help implement innovative solutions within accounting and reporting.

Support audits and compliance: You’ll assist with audits, deep dives and risk assessments. You’ll also analyse the impact of new regulations on financial processes and systems.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders: You’ll work with teams like Reporting, Risk Management, Treasury and Investor Relations to ensure reports are transparent and accurate. Your analyses and reporting contribute to Board and Supervisory Board decisions - for example, related to the annual report. Every role is slightly different depending on the organisation, team and assignment. Together, we’ll find the right fit for you.
