Is your question not listed?

Will I receive a salary even if I don’t have an assignment yet?

Yes, you receive a salary from day one, even if you haven’t started an assignment yet. As a new consultant, you’ll begin with onboarding and training tailored to your needs. While you’re getting to know our organisation and searching for your first assignment, you’ll continue to be paid. If you’re in between assignments, you’ll work on internal projects and continue developing through training — and you’ll still receive your salary.

How long does an assignment typically last?

An assignment typically lasts between 6 and 9 months.

What kind of assignments can I take on as a consultant?

As a consultant, you'll work on a variety of assignments within the Finance and Risk domain. For example, you might be involved in risk assessments, develop financial models, or lead software development projects. Your focus could be on improving financial data, optimising reporting processes, and implementing new laws and regulations.

In project management roles, you’ll take the lead on major initiatives for pension funds and process improvements at leading banks, growing from an analytical position into a leadership role.

How is your consultancy programme structured?

Our consultancy programme spans three years and is built on three pillars: personal leadership, consulting skills, and in-depth sector knowledge. Throughout the programme, you’ll receive guidance from both a performance manager and an experienced senior consultant, focusing on your professional and personal development.

As a consultant, your work will involve solving complex financial (data) issues, improving reporting processes, and proposing enhancements. You’ll delve into topics such as new regulations, process optimisation, and data quality.

The programme is designed to strengthen your subject-matter expertise and consulting capabilities, while supporting you with coaching during your assignments. This fosters rapid professional growth and keeps you constantly challenged.

At which companies could I work as a consultant?

As a consultant, you can work at a variety of companies within the Finance and Risk domain. For example, you could take on assignments at de Volksbank, ING and ABN AMRO, various pension organisations, and other major banks.

What makes your programme unique?

Our programme is unique because it puts personal attention at its core. Our experienced consultants support you during your assignments, and your performance manager provides personal guidance to help you feel confident and succeed in your role at the client.

Can I choose my own assignments?

We always look together for an assignment that suits you, based on your studies and work experience. For open assignments at clients, we’ll discuss whether the content and environment are a good fit for you. Sometimes, you can also join an ongoing (group) assignment with colleagues from our consultancy team — as long as the assignment aligns with your interests.

Am I tied to your programme for three years?

We hebben een driejarig consultancyprogramma ontworpen om je een stevige basis te geven op weg naar een volwaardig consultant. Maar dit betekent niet dat je die verplicht vol moet maken. Merk je dat het toch niet bij jou past? Dan gaan we met elkaar in gesprek over oplossingen of kan je stoppen met het programma.
 

What can I expect from my first assignment?

We understand you're eager to take on complex change assignments that make a big impact, but it's essential to first gain a solid understanding of how a bank operates. That’s why we recommend starting by getting to know the different departments and products.

New consultants often begin in an operational role within the financial sector to build a strong foundation. Aiming for a different type of role? No worries — together we’ll look for your next step and make sure your work remains challenging!

Do you also work on group assignments?

It’s quite common for multiple consultants to work within the same client environment or even within the same team. We always look for the role that best matches your profile.
