Traineeship Finance
Want to develop into a specialist in finance? With our traineeship, you’ll start working straight away at one of our clients - such as ABN AMRO, Rabobank or ING - in a role that suits your skills and ambitions. Think of roles like accounting specialist, financial controller or business analyst. You’ll take on challenging projects and help improve financial processes. What you’ll be doing
You’ll start at a bank, insurer or pension fund, in a department that matches your ambitions and talents. This could be an accounting, reporting, control, data or ALM (Asset & Liability Management) department.
Depending on your role, you’ll work on financial analyses, reporting and process optimisation – playing a key part in improving data and control processes. You’ll collaborate with finance, IT and risk teams to create smart, efficient solutions.
Some of the roles you might start in:
- Financial controller: analysing financial data and preparing reports to provide insight into financial performance.
- Accounting specialist: responsible for accurate, complete and timely financial administration, supporting audits and compliance.
- Reporting specialist: working with data and BI tools to develop reports and optimise processes.
- Business analyst finance: the link between finance and IT, analysing and translating processes into efficient solutions.
Throughout the traineeship, you’ll receive training and coaching to support your development in the field. Together, we’ll find the role and organisation that fits you best.
This is you:
- You have (or are about to complete) a university degree in finance, accountancy, business. administration or economics.
- You’re a strong communicator, a team player, and confident in taking initiative.
- You have sharp analytical skills.
- You work accurately and in a structured way.
- Currently based in the Netherlands and available full-time.

The traineeship
Our two-year traineeship means you’ll start working in a team at one of our clients – such as a.s.r., de Volksbank or Tikkie – right away. You’ll combine working with personal development, following an extensive training programme to build both hard and soft skills. The programme supports your transition from studying to working, with plenty of focus on your personal growth and building a valuable network.
Alongside your day-to-day work, you’ll receive personal guidance from your talent manager. Together, you’ll reflect on your progress, work-life balance and career path.
