Junior Quantitative Model Validator

(Almost) finished your degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, or something similar? And would you like to continue developing your knowledge and skills? Kickstart your career as a quantitative model validator with one of our partners, and develop yourself with our traineeship!

This is what you'll do

You’ll get started as a full-blown quantitative model validator right away, instantly becoming a part of a team within companies such as ING, de Volksbank or Tikkie. In this role, you identify and quantify model risks and recommend model adaptations when necessary. Your main task will be checking advanced financial models that improve risk management and optimise financial performance. That’s why you need to know your way around financial modelling, validation and risk assessment. You’ll also need in-depth knowledge of financial theories and tools, market structures and regulations.

This is you

  • You’ve (almost) finished a university degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or something similar.
  • You’re familiar with programming languages, such as: Python, R, C or MATLAB.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You work accurately and systematically.
  • You currently live in the Netherlands.

  • A gross salary of €4.018 per month based on 40 hours (including vacation allowance and a 13th month pay).
