Junior Finance Consultant
With our tailored consultancy program, you can immerse yourself in the Finance or Risk domains of major players in the financial sector such as ING, ABN AMRO, and Rabobank. Enhance your consultancy skills through targeted training and rapidly develop new abilities through practical coaching. Curious about what else our consultancy program can offer you? Read on!
This is what you will do
As a consultant in our program, you will directly support critical financial processes within the client's environment. This hands-on experience enables you to quickly grasp the inner workings of the financial sector. Over time, you will transition into an advisory role with one of our partners, which include leading financial organizations such as banks, insurance companies, and pension funds. Starting in an analytical entry-level position, you will advance to a significant leadership or senior role.
You will collaborate with experienced consultants on temporary assignments, tackling complex financial data issues, optimizing reports, or making improvement proposals. Key themes you will engage with include new legislation and regulations, process optimization, and data quality. Assignments typically last between 6 to 9 months.
Throughout the program, a talent manager and senior consultant will guide you in both your professional and personal development. You will deepen your subject matter expertise, enhance your consultancy skills, and receive coaching on practical assignments. This cross-pollination ensures rapid professionalization, continuously challenging and developing yourself.
Our 3-year consultancy program and the diverse range of client assignments provide a robust all-round foundation for becoming a full-fledged consultant. In the first two years, we lay the groundwork, and in the third year, specialization follows. After three years, you can transition to one of the consultancy labels within our parent company The Hup or continue to grow within Solid Professionals:
- RiskSphere: focuses on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
- Firm C: Data-driven Finance & Risk, project management, and process optimisation.
- Managing consultant: leading, coaching, and guiding young people within the consultancy program.
