Junior Data Analyst
Ready to take your first step into the world of data and finance? As a financial data analyst, you’ll contribute to large-scale data transformations in the financial sector - from improving regulatory reporting to helping build entirely new data landscapes. You bring structure to complex challenges and help organisations move forward with sharp analysis and clear insights.
This is what you will do
As a junior financial data analyst, you’ll start working directly with one of our clients (such as ING, Van Lanschot Kempen or Tikkie) while also joining our two-year traineeship. You’ll operate at the intersection of finance and data, in an environment where regulation, data quality and digital transformation come together. Depending on your assignment, you’ll be working on:
- Analysis & data collection: You perform information flow analyses, map data streams, collect and validate data, and use tools like SQL and Excel for in-depth analysis.
- Requirements & process improvement: You define data requirements based on internal needs and regulatory guidelines, identify bottlenecks in systems or processes, and work on improving and automating reports for authorities such as DNB or the ECB.
- Data visualisation & stakeholder management: You build dashboards in Power BI to present complex information clearly and translate the needs of stakeholders in finance, risk and IT into actionable solutions.
- Innovation & transformation: You support the transition from outdated data solutions (like legacy data warehouses) to future-proof, data-driven environments.
Your contribution will help create reliable data, more efficient processes and better decision-making within leading financial institutions.
